Install WordPress Using Softaculous Manually
Before installing WordPress in HostGator make sure your domain (new or existing) is

3. Search for “Softaculous” or navigate to the section
4. Click on the Softaculous App Installer

5. On the Softaculous page, Click Install in the WordPress box.

6. Now to setup you have to fill up the form carefully.
By Choosing the various option in Software Setup:
Choose Protocol: Make it as https:// option
Choose Domain: It will be visible as your domain name or you can select your domain
In directory: Leave it as blank
Make sure the latest version of WordPress is visible

Site: https://www.example.com
